2. The Products
All paintings on larshede.com are original, one-of-a-kind works painted by Lars Hede. No reproductions or print runs of the individual works exist — once a painting is sold, it cannot be purchased again. Colours may vary slightly from screen to screen.
3. Prices and Payment
All prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and are VAT-free, as the sale of unique artworks (original paintings) is not subject to VAT in Denmark. Payment is made using the payment methods available at checkout at the time of purchase.
4. Delivery
We ship paintings carefully packaged to the delivery address you provide when ordering. Estimated delivery time is stated at the time of order. Shipping costs are shown in the cart before the purchase is completed.
5. Right of Withdrawal
As a consumer, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the item, under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. To exercise this right, notify us within 14 days of receipt. The item must be returned in essentially the same condition and quantity as delivered, and you bear the cost of return shipping. As each painting is a unique original work, we ask that it be packaged and transported with great care in the event of a return.
6. Right to Complain (Warranty)
A 24-month right to complain applies under the Danish Sale of Goods Act. This covers defects and faults in the item — it does not cover natural variations in brushwork and painting technique, which are part of the work’s original, hand-painted character. Complaints should be directed to contact@larshede.com.

You can also file a complaint with the Danish Center for Complaint Resolution (Nævnenes Hus), Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark, via naevneneshus.dk, or with the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
